About Gavin Huttley¶
Professor Gavin Huttley is a group leader in the Research School of Biology at the Australian National University. His research addresses fundamental questions concerning genetic variation and the properties of genomes. This work is a synthesis of evolutionary theory, mathematical statistics and computer science. His multi-disciplinary research program involves active collaborations with mathematical statisticians, computer scientists, electrical engineers, protein biochemists, geneticists and microbial ecologists. He is a founder of multiple open-source software projects that are employed in Biomedical research.
